Does your company help you succeed and advance in your career? I recently traveled to NYC where I was honored with the Capella University - Wall Street Journal Business Leader Award for 2017. This would not have been possible without the support of FSA and the company's tuition reimbursement program. Check out FSA's job opening and outstanding benefits if you're looking for a company where you can excel and be recognized.
Are you looking to work on interesting cases and make a difference in our country? FSA might be the place for you. Here's just one example of the type of cases we see in our work with the Department of Justice.
Two men have been indicted by a federal grand jury in San Francisco on charges related to an investment fund scheme, announced Acting Deputy Assistant Attorney General Stuart M. Goldberg of the Justice Department’s Tax Division and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California.

Was it hard for you to return to the office today, after a President's Day holiday weekend? Saw an interesting quote from Zig Ziglar today. "People say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing -- that's why we recommend it daily!" Hmm, who motivated you today, and who did you help to motivate? If you're looking for a great place to work, where you can be motivated by the difference you're making in your community and the world -- consider FSA!
The Holiday Season is always a very special time of the year and giving to others is a huge part of that. Matthew Newcomer is a 12 year old, local Leesburg resident who has been running Loudoun County Toys for Tots drives to help children in our community each year since he was 4. Every year he aims to donate to even more kids in need than the previous year. In our partnership with Matthew, the FSA PMO has donated over 100 toys to children in need this year! Thanks for all of your generosity towards the 2015 Toys for Tots Drive!

Engility Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary of Asset Forfeiture Program
Joint venture program siezes $ millions in criminal assets every year
Engility’s joint venture with AECOM, Forfeiture Support Associates LLC, recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary. Engility leadership was on hand to help recognize the talents and dedication of the FSA team.
The Department of Justice and other law enforcement agencies seek to protect citizens by identifying, prosecuting, and stopping crime. The incarceration of criminals is just one piece of the puzzle, with criminal organizations still able to function if their resources are intact. Dismantling those organizations requires law enforcement to seize assets like bank accounts, investments, property, and other resources. The Asset Forfeiture Program (AFP) captures criminal proceeds, undermining the ability of criminals and their organizations to operate. In order to execute their mission, the AFP turned to Engility’s Joint Venture, Forfeiture Support Associates (FSA) for professional, financial, and legal support.
FSA employs more than 1,800 professionals, ranging from financial analysts to litigation support personnel, who work in nearly 700 federal law enforcement agency sites and in 92 United States Attorneys’ offices, supporting 14 Federal law enforcement agencies/prosecutorial venues in 266 cities nationwide, including 49 States, Puerto Rico, and Guam. Our Joint Venture team delivers analytical, legal, and other program and business support services at various DOJ offices that are responsible for the administration of Federal AFPs.
In fiscal year 2013, the AFP reported over $2 billion in total net deposited assets. In the ten years that our Joint Venture team has worked on AFP with the DOJ, it has constantly grown to meet DOJ’s expanding mission. We have consistently and quickly provided the highly-skilled, cleared personnel needed to help the DOJ dismantle criminal organizations.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
FSA Headquarters donated 375 pounds of food to the Loudon County Interfaith organization to help feed hungry families this summer! Summer food donations can help bridge the gap for school age children who are not able to count on lunches provided by schools during the regular school year but are unavailable during summer months.
This is our second year in a row in partnering with the Loudon County Interfaith organization, and our donations continue to grow.

Maryanne ( Supervisor Records Examiner/ Analyst, DEA ) has worked for FSA for 9 years. She
shares her thoughts and reflects on her work experience since beginning her career with Forfeiture Support Associates.
Why I love coming to work :
In the 23 years I’ve been working at DEA under contract, I can say it’s been the most interesting job I’ve ever had. Working with attorneys and administrative personnel from DEA, USMS, USAO has been a very professional and educational experience. I also enjoy working with the Special Agents, Diversion Investigators, and Task Force Officers in our Enforcement Groups. There is always something new to learn; whether it be a new computer system or software program that assists with investigations, or the day-to-day search warrant activity that results in arrests, drug and asset seizures, which subsequently keeps the “bad guy” off the street, making our neighborhoods safer to live in.
Why I would recommend working at FSA :
FSA provides a positive workplace culture and high job satisfaction. I am proud to support their mission and values. They engage their employees in various ongoing training, and believe in using recognition everyday to improve the bottom line. FSA is a successful company which has national presence, and employs a diverse range of experienced professionals. FSA fosters a good working environment so that employee retention remains at a high level. FSA upholds uncompromisingly strong ethics standards and integrity, which providing their clients superior customer service.
Until I started working for FSA I never thought I would:
I would have a career in law enforcement administration. Advances in technology and a post-September 11 emphasis on homeland security makes my job an important contribution to the judicial system, as well as my community. FSA has provided me with hands-on training to further my experience, to which I was able to achieve a promotion to Supervisory Records Examiner/Analyst. My next goal will be to be selected as an Operations Manager.
Last week FSA attended the University of Richmond Spider Network SPCS Career Expo. We were warmly welcomed by both students and staff and enjoyed the beautiful campus. It was a wonderful turnout and the FSA table was consistently busy with students sharing their resumes and learning more about opportunities with Forfeiture Support Associates.
Additionally, FSA will be returning to the University of Richmond and giving a presentation to the Paralegal Department. We look forward to our continued and future relationship with the "Spiders " !!!
Keisha would like to share her experience with FSA:
I love coming to work because I feel like I'm making a difference in the world. It's great to know that my work is helping to dismantle criminal organizations on a global level.
There are so many reasons that I recommend working for FSA! In addition to receiving great benefits and having potential for growth within the company, employees become a part of the tight-knit FSA family.
Until I started working for FSA I never thought I would find a way to combine my two career interests: international business and criminal justice. As a Records Examiner/Analyst at INTERPOL, I have had the pleasure of merging the two by facilitating international forfeiture investigations

"I love the work that I do and I enjoy the people that I work with. It is gratifying to know that at the end of the day I have played a small part in bringing justice to the public. I feel as passionately about my job today as I did when I started in 2004."

TIP OF THE DAY from our National Recruiting Director:
Preparation is Key!
One of the best ways to make an impression during an FSA interview or pre-screen is to be prepared! Being prepared means doing your research on our organization as well as the agency where the position is located. While our website won’t give you all of the answers, it should certainly give you a better understanding of who we support and the services we offer. I personally, am always impressed when a candidate can give a well-informed answer to the question “What do you already know about us?”
FSA is proud to announce that this week we will be attending The Association of Certified Financial Crime Specialist International Financial Crime Conference and Exhibition. The conference will be held at the Marriott Marquis in New York on Wednesday, February 5 – February 7th.
If you are attending the conference please stop by our booth and let us tell you about the wonderful opportunities that FSA has to offer !!!
Preparing Marines to Enter the Workforce
Earlier this month, Recruiters attended a Job Fair in Quantico, VA. This event was sponsored by the Personal & Professional Development Program for the United States Marine Corps. This was a great opportunity to reach out to soon to be veterans. The purpose of the job fair was to assist Marines with their separation from the US Military and allow them to interact with companies in the private sector.
This was the final event of a weeklong training program that the Marines attended to prepare themselves to enter the workforce in the civilian arena. The event was small but busy. There were approximately 12 vendors at the event. Some of the vendors included Prince William County Police and County, Staffing Dynamics, Farmers Insurance, Superior Pest control, etc... There was approximately 50 people in attendance. The group was diverse ranging from job seekers who had spent anywhere from 2 to 18 years in the Military. Most job seekers expressed overwhelming interest about the opportunities that FSA has to offer !
Thanks again to everyone who donated gifts to our adopted family this year. The donations were dropped off yesterday and were well received by the LAWS (Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter) organizers. I’m sure the family will greatly appreciate your generosity !
HAPPY THANKSGIVING ! Have a wonderful and safe holiday !
