LEF - Loudoun County Public Schools Backpack Coalition Program Our program provides family-style meals to food-insecure students and their families to ensure they have enough to eat on the weekends.

This is the OFFICIAL FB page for the LEF - Loudoun County Public Schools Backpack Coalition Program. The LEF - LCPS Backpack Coalition Program is a District approved supplemental program to an existing school's weekend meal program when funding/or food is not available. Under the guidance of the Office of Outreach, the LEF- LCPS Backpack Coalition Program provides family-style pantry staples designed to benefit food-insecure students and their families.

I wanted to share this resource with you in case you know someone with a child without health insurance.

HealthWork for Northern Virginia, a nonprofit Community HealthCenter serving Loudoun County and some of Fairfax County still has FREE appointments available for our Free School Physical Exams for children without health insurance.

Our two centers, in Leesburg and Herndon, are offering one day to see children who are uninsured and will need a school physical examination to attend the coming school year.

In Leesburg or Loudoun County schools:
Friday, August 4, 2017.
Grades: Pre-k to 5th grade.

In Herndon or Fairfax County schools:
Friday, July 28, 2017.
Grades: Pre-k to 6th grade.
