Member Monday: Caraway Conference Center and Camps🏕️

Some places have a way of making you slow down the moment you arrive. Caraway is one of them.

Nestled in the rolling hills of the Uwharrie Mountains just seven miles west of Asheboro, Caraway is a nonprofit ministry spanning 1,100 acres and three unique facilities: Caraway Conference Center, Camp Caraway, and Camp Mundo Vista. Founded in 1963 by the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, they’ve spent over six decades offering gracious hospitality to everyone who walks through their doors, welcoming around 20,000 guests and campers every single year.

From summer camps for kids to retreats, conferences, training events, and senior programs, Caraway has space for groups of 10 to 250 and a genuine heart for making every guest feel at home. Their mission is simple: to create an environment where people can step away from the noise and truly connect.

Right in our backyard and worth every visit. 🙌

On September 16, 2026, we're excited to welcome Dr. Christopher Geczy of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania to Randolph County.

Dr. Geczy brings more than two decades of experience in investment management, financial markets, and wealth management, along with extensive experience advising institutional investors, financial professionals, and organizations.

He'll share his perspective on the current economic environment, trends shaping financial markets, and what those trends could mean for businesses and investors in the months ahead. The event will also include a live Q&A opportunity.
