Lifes Trials Going thru life gracefully and being able to talk about it and still feel at peace with yourself. I love my family and friends with everything that is in me.

I spend most of my time reflecting and self assessing who I am. My hobbies have pretty much changed over the years but I still have the thrive and enthusiasm to learn everything I can learn. I am on a journey now that is so much different than the journey I was on 20 years ago. Hope to keep the excitement for life going for as long as I can.

Hurricane Helene has brought so much devastation to the southern states that is just beyond all normal reality. Lives lost, homes gone, cities and towns completely decimated by the ravage and rage of Helene. My oldest daughter was one of those victims caught in this hurricane and thank god she and the grand babies survived and are safe. I've been trying to raise a fund to get her back home to NH but without success. She is starting to feel like she is wearing out her welcome with the people that moved her from the devastation and I just wish I could get her to NH. She has called so many places without success of being able to get help with relocation and its breaking my heart that I can't help right now. Help those around you when and if you can because at some point we may be the only helping hands that they have.

Life can deal your hand unexpectedly and it will test that part of you that you never knew was there. I was diagnosed with BC and am scheduled for a single mastectomy on the 27th. I am scared and it’s the hand I’ve been dealt. It’s so important to have people to talk to and interact with. Positive people are important to us.

Today is a really good day! I opened my eyes and all 4 of my cats were looking at me as If I needed to be up LOL........When life gets me down sometimes its my cats that keep me going. If only they would take tips on how to help me keep the house clean ;)

I was recently diagnosed with Lobular Carcinoma (breast cancer). Its been 3 weeks of continuous researching, blood work, mammagram, ultrasounds, biopsy and an MRI is now scheduled. I've been sad over it but I'm not scared and my demeanor has pretty much been good overall. I've realized that my self-esteem isn't up there as normal right now but my guess is that its expected until I know exactly how my doctor and I will proceed after the MRI. I will do my utmost to stay positive and keep good vibes flowing. I will also keep everyone up to date on things
