Mission: Amnesty International (AI) is 50 years old, the world’s largest grassroots human rights organization and winner of the 1977 Nobel Peace Prize. AI works to protect people wherever justice, freedom, truth and dignity are denied. AI investigates and exposes abuses, educates and mobilizes the public, and helps transform societies to create a safer, more just world. We welcome all who want to join us in this effort.
