Good afternoon,

It is with great sadness that we join the Salamone family in announcing the passing of Mr. Salvatore Salamone, a beloved member of the Chichester community and former principal of Chichester Middle School.

Mr. Salamone's dedication to our students, staff, and community left a lasting impact on generations of Eagles, and his legacy will long be remembered throughout our district.

It is with sadness that the passing of Salvatore A. Salamone Jr. of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania is shared. Salvatore, born on March 2, 1950, passed away on August 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Maurine (Lester). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Salamone (Zaraco); his children, Kenneth A. Salamone (Lisa Kearney), Karlee Salamone and Kristina Salamone; his grandchildren, Kenneth Salamone, Jr., Grace Salamone, Nathaniel Kearney, Daniel Kearney and Timothy Kearney; his sister Marissa Spera; his siblings-in-law, Deborah, Bill Holdsworth and Carole Zaraco Freeland; and his pet Freddie. He is also survived by her children; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (120 Jefferson St, Bridgeport, PA 19405). A burial will be held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Saint Augustine Cemetery (175 W Dekalb Pike, King of Prussia, PA 19406).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sal's name to Alliance Cancer Specialists at Main Line, 100 East Lancaster Avenue, Wynnewood, PA 19096.

⚠️ BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT RESCHEDULED ⚠️

Dear Marcus Hook Families,

Due to the severe weather conditions, we are prioritizing the safety of our staff and families. Marcus Hook Elementary’s Back-to-School Night has been rescheduled for Thursday, September 10, from 5:30–7:00 PM.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to keep our school community safe.
