Hey ! It's almost time for our annual Back to School Health Fair that is sponsored by various local churches and businesses in our area.

🗓 Saturday, July 25, 2026

⏰ 10:00AM - 1:00PM

📍 Brownsboro High School

👉 In order to receive the services provided that day the child(ren)must be present at the event.

FREE items and services that will be provided are:
▪️Dental and vision screenings
▪️Immunizations
▪️Assistance with student enrollment into BISD
▪️Backpack full of school supplies
▪️Voucher to receive a free haircut
▪️Socks and a brand new pair of shoes for each child

The Greater Athens Lions Club is collecting new shoes for local children and families through its summer shoe drive benefiting The Rainbow Room of Athens.

From tiny preemie sizes to shoes for teens, every pair will help a child in Henderson County. Donations of brand-new sneakers, school shoes and casual shoes can be dropped off through June 27 at the East Texas Arboretum.

Small acts of kindness often make the biggest difference. If you're out shopping this month, consider picking up an extra pair and helping a local child start the next school year on the right foot. 👟❤️
