Because God Forbid black women actually get in position as a collective to win! THEY KNOW OUR POWER, SOME OF US JUST DONT 🤷🏽‍♀️

While this is a disappointing setback, we refuse to see this as the end of our mission.

A***n Simone, our co-founder, expressed the collective heartbreak and resolve of our community: “I am shattered for every girl of color who has a dream but will grow up in a nation determined not to give her a shot to live it,” Simone said. “On their behalf, we will turn the pain into purpose and fight with all our might.”
This isn’t the end, but the beginning of a renewed fight. We are committed more than ever to advocating for equity, pushing forward with resilience, and ensuring that women of color receive the opportunities they rightfully deserve.

Dean, 38, faces up to 20 years in prison. Dean, who is white, shot through her bedroom window from her backyard when the officer responded to the East Fort Worth home.

A concerned neighbor called a nonemergency police line about 2:30 a.m. on Oct. 12, 2019, because the home’s doors were open and the lights were on inside.

Jefferson, who was Black, and her 8-year-old nephew were up late playing video games and left the doors open to air out smoke after they burned hamburgers at dinnertime.

Sooo… Y’all KNOW how We feel about Trades Right? I think that having more “need based” businesses BY US is a HUGE WAY to the BUILD GENERATIONAL WEALTH IN OUR COMMUNITY!!!

Just imagine if you knew somebody FOR ALL TRADES NEEDED and by people that look like you?

GAME CHANGER!!!

But if you did, What careers can technical colleges and trade schools prepare you for?

Common fields of study include health care (practical nursing, home health aide), computers, technology (electronics, auto mechanics, plumbing, heating and air conditioning), culinary arts, business, and more.

Weeellllppppp…. Residents of all ages are invited to learn more about trade programs offered in their area of interest at The Trading Up 2022 the 1st annual trade school fair for metro Atlanta residents.

The event will be held on THIS Thursday, September 22, 2022 at C.T. Martin Natatorium and Recreation Center.

The fair — which is free and open to the public — will run from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

There will also be a panel on Trade Education Success Stories from 11 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. during the fair.

Additionally The CAPS program which supports early education goals by assisting low income families with the cost of child care while they work, go to school or training, or participate in other work-related activities will be in attendance.

Lastly, Several well-paying jobs will be in the building and doing interviews on the spot so bring your résumé if you have one.

🗣 Ahmaud was killed on February 23rd, 2020 👀

But on May 9th, 2020 the Police STILL HADN’T PICKED UP THE TRUCK THEY USED TO CHASE AND KILL HIM!!!

Today Ahmaud’s Mom Filed a lawsuit, one year later. But we’re still awaiting the trial and they’re literally asking the court to not allow the attorneys to refer to him as a “victim” because he was the the “aggressor” while being hunted down like a dog by 3 men with 2 trucks 😤

White Privilege is a drug and They need to Lock all their asses up frfr!
