The moment you have all been waiting for.......

🎃Trunk or Treat 2026 🎃will be back once again! October 31, 2026 with gates opening at 5:30PM.
We will be at the Polk County Fairgrounds once again. Make sure you bring all your little ghosts👻 and goblins👹 to the most happening Trick or Treat Spot in Polk County! We are planning to keep building this event with more for the whole family!
As always the candy 🍭🍬will be flowing and the good times will be plenty!

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

* Until 500 PM EDT.

* At 436 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Euharlee, or
9 miles west of Cartersville, moving southwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Please exercise extreme caution as you celebrate this weekend!

There were 13,000 firework related injuries in 2025, with 1,300 from sparklers alone. 😳 (US Consumer Product Safety Commission)

As a reminder, GA Code 25-10-2 permits the use of fireworks from 10:00am to 11:59pm. We kindly ask that you keep this in mind to help our team at Polk County E-911 by ensuring that lines of communication are open to help those in need of true emergency assistance.
