Y’all, I need to talk about our art sister because she is THAT girl and I will not stop saying it.

We had the honor of being there today when she unveiled her LARGEST mural to date on the 17th Street Bridge near Atlantic Station and I am still not over it. This woman painted an entire bridge. FOR THE CITY. Commissioned by the City of Atlanta through the Moving Atlanta Forward initiative, this mural is Atlanta’s welcome mat to the world as we get ready to host eight FIFA World Cup matches this summer. EIGHT. And they called on Melissa to represent us. As they should.

But what got me in my feelings was the detail — she wove the Girl Scout trefoil right into the design, with the lines representing the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta literally weaving the world together. Only Melissa would think like that. Only Melissa would make sure everybody felt seen in her work.

The unveiling was a WHOLE event. Drum line, Girl Scouts, Mayor Andre Dickens, news cameras — the city showed up because the work demanded it.

I am so proud of this woman it is ridiculous. Atlanta does not deserve her but we are so blessed to have her. Go find that bridge and go SEE it in person. You will not regret it.
this one is forever sis. 🔥

The work spoke for itself.

Every piece in our gallery responded to the same question:

What makes art priceless?
Swipe to see the original works created by our 7 featured artists — each funded through the ComfiArt Creative Fund and debuted at Why Art Is Priceless: Women Creators, Culture & Commerce.

And the room didn’t just admire the work — they bought it.
Congratulations to and , whose pieces sold that night for a combined $2,800. 🎉

This is what it looks like when artists are positioned as the businesses they are.

These aren’t just paintings. They’re statements. Businesses. Investments.

7 women artists. 7 checks. $250–$1,000 each.

At Why Art Is Priceless: Women Creators, Culture & Commerce — we didn’t just celebrate artists. We invested in them.

Through the ComfiArt Creative Fund, these seven remarkable creators received grants to support the development of original works that debuted at our showcase hosted at ’s Atlanta Tech Hub.

Because visibility without funding isn’t enough.

Still taking this in.

20+ artists.
In one room.
Focused on growing, learning, and leveling up how they present their work.

Today’s Portfolio & Case Study Framework Workshop wasn’t about making more art—it was about making sure the work already created gets the opportunities it deserves.

From emerging creatives to seasoned artists, everyone showed up ready to think differently about their portfolios, their stories, and their value.

This is why I do this.

More workshops.
More rooms like this.
More artists getting paid and positioned properly.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and trusted the process 💛 .empowerher

Art is more than something we admire.
It’s something we build lives around.

On March 24, 2026, ComfiArt will host Why Art Is Priceless: Women Creators, Culture & Commerce, a Women’s History Month showcase celebrating artists as both cultural storytellers and entrepreneurs.

In partnership with Mastercard’s Women’s Leadership Network, we are bringing together an incredible group of women artists whose work responds to the question:

✨ How is art priceless to you? ✨

Through the ComfiArt Creative Fund, seven artists will receive mini-grants to support the creation of new original works that will debut during the showcase.

Featured Artists:
Marryam Moma
Monica Tookes
Elaine Stephenson
Tiffany Sy
Dizzy Dain
Honey Pierre
Shardaya Jones

Hosted by Dionna Collins, Founder of ComfiArt.

This evening will include:
• A curated gallery showcase
• A conversation on women creators in business
• Community connection and cultural storytelling

Special thanks to our partners supporting the experience:

Art isn’t just beautiful.

It’s powerful.
It’s economic.
And it’s priceless.

Everyone sees the win.
Few see the work that comes after.

Building a real relationship with a company like Mastercard doesn’t happen overnight. It’s layers, meetings, alignment, patience, and more decks than I can count. As a small business, I can move fast — but partnerships at this level require a different rhythm.

This phase is teaching me how to slow down without losing momentum, how to build trust before contracts, and how to honor the process before the success becomes public.

This isn’t a moment.
It’s a journey in the making.

And I’m grateful for every step. ✨
