This morning I was able to go by and visit Central Educational Center to view the renovations and modifications currently in progress. This is a two year project that started in November of last year and is going well. Speaking with the business community, and understanding the needs locally is what drove this long overdue project.

It was a great morning welcoming our new teachers at the new teacher orientation!

This morning we are thrilled and honored to officially welcome nearly 140 new teachers and staff to the Coweta County School System family.

Let’s make this an amazing school year for our students!

‼️

When a school bus stop arm extends, every driver has one responsibility, STOP. It’s not optional, and it’s not negotiable. It’s about protecting children in motion.

Be sure to sign up today!

The wait is over….“Wheres the Bus?” is NOW LIVE!!🎉🚍

After hard work, we are excited to announce that Where’s the Bus is now OPEN and parents can officially sign up! 🚌

How to access it?

✅Go to your Google Play Store or Apple App Store and search “Where’s the Bus”.

✅Once downloaded, click the “create account” button.

✅Select Coweta County.

✅Input your students Student ID number and birthdate.
- if you do not know your students ID number, please call your students base school to get that information.

🚨🚨Please know that your student MUST be assigned to a bus route in order for you to have FULL access to the app. In order to do so, please call Transportation or email [email protected] or [email protected].

📝If your student does ride the bus, please make sure that they know their Student ID (this is the same number that they use for their lunches and library books).

🏫The schools will issue them their QR Code that they can use to scan on and off the bus. This code NEVER changes. If your student misplaces the QR Code, please let the school know and they can send your student home with a new one.

Thank you for your patience as we worked to bring this service to our families. We’re thrilled to finally share it with you and hope you enjoy this exciting new feature!🚌🎉
