Starting this morning, Israel has been targeted by airstrikes coming from the Gaza Strip over 150 times. Escalation started because Israel defended its right to exist by killing a known terrorist, Bahaa Abu-elAtta. Democrats and Republicans both agree that retaliation on Israel was unjustified.

Hamas, the militant group controlling Gaza, called the Israeli strike "a dangerous escalation."
