Winnona Park Elementary School PTA in Decatur, GA The Winnona Park Elementary School PTA is the Parent/Teacher Organization for the school.

Our mission is to promote the culture, community and vitality of the school by creating events, fundraisers, and staff support opportunities at our school. We aim to financially support the school find ways that are aiding instruction, improving the school environment, and building community. Winnona Park is located in Decatur, GA, and houses approximately 435 students, grades K-3rd.

This morning, Winnona Park's Community Circle had some extra magic in it.

We gathered to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible PTA President, Celina Rosser Beaver, as her youngest Wildcat prepares to move on from our school. Just as all three of her kids did. Three complete journeys through the halls of Winnona Park. And for the past three years, Celina has led our PTA with so much heart, hustle, and genuine love for this community that the word "volunteer" barely scratches the surface.

Mr. Wiseman and Mrs. Houston shared words that left few dry eyes in the room, speaking to what so many of us already know: Celina doesn't just show up for her own kids. She shows up for ALL of our kids.

The PTA presented Celina with a gift card and a custom watercolor painting of Winnona Park, featuring her own children out front. Because if anyone has earned a piece of this place to take with her, it's her.

Celina, you've been the very definition of Crew. You didn't just ride along on this journey. You helped chart the course for all of us. We are so grateful. Go be a Wildcat Family Ambassador in the wild! Whiskers will miss you.

☀️🌧️ Decatur, we see you out there being dramatic last night and this morning.

But guess what? The storms are clearing, the skies are opening up, and TONIGHT that patio at La Chiquiada has our names on it.

After those storms, you deserve to sit outside, breathe in that fresh post-rain air, and let someone else do the cooking. We're making it easy: show up, eat good food, and know that 10% of every sale goes straight back to Winnona Park kids.

🌿 THANK YOU to all of our garden helpers! 🌿
The Spring '26 PTA community gardening day was a big success thanks to all of our wonderful student and parent volunteers! We were able to: fill the trailer planters with new flowers, top dress the new garden beds for spring planting, install the trellis, move LOTS of mulch, and pull sooooo many weeds! Ms. Woodley is ready to start planting with the kiddos 💚

💛 Second grade goes fast. Like, really fast.

To honor our 2nd graders as they move on from Winnona Park, the PTA is offering a FREE tribute in the 2025-26 yearbook for every 2nd grade student. Submit your favorite photos and a personal message to give them a sendoff they'll actually want to look back on someday.
