As your representative, I have fought to hold insurers accountable and rein in skyrocketing insurance premiums by increasing more than 40 fines for bad acting insurance companies and making claims processing faster, fairer, and more transparent. Meanwhile, Georgia Democrats fought to block these needed measures that have helped restore balance to our courtrooms and are already yielding positive results in the form of lower premiums for Georgia families and business owners.

The Dublin City Nominating Committee is accepting letters of intent and resumes from individuals who are interested in serving on the Dublin City Board of Education. The letter of intent must include the board district where the applicant resides with their physical address listed.

The deadline for submitting the letters of intent and resumes is Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 5 p.m. To be considered, submissions may be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off in-person in Dublin at Plum Alley, located at 2032 D Veterans Blvd, Dublin, GA.

Like many of you in our community, I’ve been disappointed with the management and resulting financial situation for our city’s school system. Throughout my life and legislative career I’ve consistently rejected personal attacks and feel there is never a situation where they are justified. The personal attacks of Board members, their families and their family businesses that took place during the trial yesterday is unacceptable. As we continue moving through this process, know that I am committed to taking every step necessary to ensure that the students of Dublin have every opportunity for a high quality education.
