We had a fantastic time at Fayetteville Elementary School on Friday, March 27th, and are so grateful for the opportunity to be part of Career Day! Thank you to the staff and students for the warm welcome and for allowing us to share a little about what we do. It’s always rewarding to connect with such bright, curious young minds and hopefully inspire a few future public safety professionals along the way. We are having a fantastic time representing Fayette County Communications at the career fair at Sara Harp Minter Elementary! It’s always an honor to connect with students, spark curiosity, and share what it means to serve our community in public safety.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to introduce our profession to tomorrow’s professionals—answering questions, sharing real-world experiences, and maybe even inspiring a few future dispatchers along the way. Thank you for having us!

Recently, our neighbors at Gwinnett County experienced the kind of loss no 9-1-1 center ever wants to face. In this profession, when one center hurts, we all feel it.

As a 9-1-1 community, we believe in showing up for each other during the hard moments. Earlier this week, a team from our center delivered a ā€œTub of Loveā€ to the incredible staff in Gwinnett County. It was a small gesture to remind them that they are not alone and that their neighbor 9-1-1 family is standing beside them.

To our followers: please keep the Gwinnett team lifted up during this difficult time. As time passes, the public forgets, but the responders are still carrying that weight.

To our colleagues in Gwinnett: we are family, and you can lean on us whenever you need.

We are incredibly grateful to the dedicated team from Fayette 911 who rolled up their sleeves and helped clear trails for the exciting new pocket park coming soon to Fayetteville! 🌿

In partnership with Fayette Forward, Fayette County, and Georgia Power, this new community space—located at the northeast corner of Veteran’s Pkwy and Eastin Road—is set to open in Spring 2026.

Our team was proud to play a small part in preparing the area for what will soon be:
āœ”ļø A 1,000-foot ADA-accessible multi-use path
āœ”ļø Peaceful soft-surface nature trails
āœ”ļø Beautiful observation areas overlooking Whitewater Creek

This park represents more than just new trails — it’s an investment in connection, recreation, and quality of life here in Fayette County. Thank you to our Fayette 911 employees for serving our community both on and off the headset. We’re proud of you! šŸ’™

We’re proud to recognize Jesse and Isabel for representing our agency at the Georgia Emergency Communications Conference this week!

They completed several hours of valuable training, connected with industry professionals and vendors, and brought back ideas that will continue to strengthen our center. Professional development and networking are essential in our ever-evolving field, and we’re grateful for team members who are committed to learning and growth.

As a bonus, they even had the chance to meet an amazing tortoise from Scaley Addictions Reptile Rescue — a rescue run by an employee of Cobb County 911! 🐢

Thank you, Jesse and Isabel, for representing us so well and investing in your professional development!

Please join us in congratulating Noah, Crissy, Alisha, Maddie, Lauren, and Nick on receiving the Teamwork Award!

On February 8th, this outstanding crew managed multiple serious and rapidly evolving incidents — including an armed robbery, a vehicle pursuit, and a foot pursuit — all within the same shift. Through clear communication, steady coordination, and unwavering focus, they ensured officers had the information they needed to respond safely and effectively.

Incidents like these demand composure under pressure and true collaboration behind the scenes. This team demonstrated exactly what professionalism and partnership look like in action.

We are incredibly proud of their dedication, skill, and commitment to serving our community. šŸ‘
