We meet in the conference room at we start Promptly at 7:00am. Please Join us! The address is 2670 Summers Street, Kennesaw, GA 30152 and we meet every Wednesday morning at 7:00am in the conference room - thus the name - the Upper Room! The history of the Upper Room was started by Mike Slaughter, who was then an associate minister at Northstar Church, in 2004. Mike left Northstar to go back into

the preaching ministry in 2007 and turned the class over to Dale Hartsfield to facilitate in 2009. Due to career changes, Dale turned the class over to Tim Gowens in 2012. The Upper Room has seen some 50+ men come through it's doors during its history. The Upper Room Men's Bible study is designed to help and encourage Men of all ages. We are a group of men who are on all levels of maturity in Christ, and are all seeking to know God's word so that we can conform to it. We are now not affiliated with any denomination - but are all believers in Christ who are seeking to know Him better and to submit to what God's word actually teaches.To view what the group believes to be foundation , or to find out more about the teacher, you can go to: www.timothygowens.com and read "what I believe" This will provide you a basic view of where we are coming from. Wow... I am so excited to be telling you about the fall concert at Summer Street Productions. Please plan on visiting. It is a free event and a Love offering will be taken if you feel lead to give. Had a good visit with the Doctor today - and got the pins removed from my fingers and most of the 75 plus stitches. The 2 fingers are very stiff and numb... and very strange feeling to say the least - but they are there! ("2 out of 3 ain't bad" - Meatloaf song - haha) Just going to need to re-learn some things.(Guitar being the greatest challenge) More prayers would be appreciated in regards to future surgeries as the joint in my pinky finger was badly damaged. Time will tell!

Thank you everyone for the kind prayers and encouragement - gifts - meals etc... So great to be a part of the family of God!

Just wanted to remind everyone that the April 27th Concert that was scheduled for 4PM has been postponed due to my injury.

I will be going to the surgeon on Thursday and will know more then about when I can reschedule the concert.

Sure am looking forward to having everyone out and celebrating God's goodness to me and my clients' amazing talents.
