We are so grateful to everyone who came out to volunteer and make a difference. Together, we assembled dignity kits for survivors of human trafficking, showing that compassion and community can create real impact.

🎟️ The FIFA Fan Festival at Centennial Olympic Park is ticketed. If you don’t have a Fan Festival ticket, don’t go to the Fan Festival entrance—entry will not be available.

The good news? You can still catch the match and enjoy the excitement at watch locations across Downtown Atlanta, including The CTR, Centennial Yards, Castleberry Hill, The Underground, Grub Alley and more.

The Mayor’s Office of Violence Reduction (MOVR) invites all City of Atlanta employees, community partners, and residents to join us in recognizing Gun Violence Prevention Month and Wear Orange Weekend.

When: Friday, June 5 – Sunday, June 7

Where: Throughout the City of Atlanta

Wear orange to honor the lives lost to gun violence, support survivors, and raise awareness about the impact of gun violence in our communities.

Throughout the weekend, we encourage everyone to wear orange, share messages of hope and prevention on social media, engage in community conversations, and recommit to building safer neighborhoods for all Atlantans.

Orange is the color worn in honor of Hadiya Pendleton, a Chicago teenager whose life was tragically cut short by gun violence. Today, it serves as a national symbol of solidarity, remembrance, and action.

Together, we can raise awareness, support prevention efforts, and help create safer, stronger communities across Atlanta.

As Atlanta prepares to welcome the world for the FIFA World Cup, we are also sending a clear message: human trafficking has no place in our city.

Today, at the world’s busiest airport , public safety leaders, hospitality partners, advocates, survivors, and community organizations came together to launch the “It’s a Penalty” campaign ahead of the World Cup.

Human trafficking often happens in plain sight, which is why awareness and prevention efforts are so important. We want residents, visitors, businesses, and workers throughout Atlanta to recognize the warning signs, understand how to report concerns, and play a role in protecting vulnerable individuals.

Thank you to First Lady Marty Kemp, APD Deputy Chief Prenzinna Spann, the Mayor’s Office of Violence Reduction, Airbnb, Booking.com, Hotels & Resorts, UPS, and our frontline partners at , , Wellspring Living, and Woman at the Well for standing together in this important effort.
