GDOT is currently taking public feedback for their Statewide Transportation Improvement Plan (STIP).

This is your time to see what GDOT has plans for in Walton County in the future and to make comments on them!

Walton County Emergency Management has been in communication with the National US National Weather Service Peachtree City Georgia concerning a downburst that occurred associated with recent thunderstorms. Multiple trees are down near the Monroe Golf Course and Alcovy/Ammonds Bridge Road causing the roadway to be blocked and power disruptions. Thanks to the local responders who are working to return operations to normal in this inclement weather.
