The Neighborhood Cleanup Day for Lenox Place will take place this Saturday, May 30, beginning at 7:30 a.m. and running until 3:30 p.m., or until finished.

This week's cleanup includes the following streets:
Greenwood Circle, West Howard (300 to 900 block), Patillo Way, Eastlake Drive (2300 block), Atlanta Avenue, Hibernia Avenue, Braeburn Lane, Ridley Lane, Adair Street, Cottonwood Place, Emerson Avenue, West Ponce de Leon Avenue (600 to 900 block), Drexel Avenue, Devonshire Avenue, Hampshire Avenue, Lansdowne Avenue, Melrose Avenue, Chief Matthews Drive, East Parkwood Road, West Parkwood Road, Upland Road, Wimberly Court, Parkwood Lane, Pinetree Drive, Scott Boulevard (100 to 700 block), Swanton Hill Subdivision, Charter Square

As part of City of Decatur’s “Budget as Art” initiative, local artists are invited to help tell the story of our community through the annual budget book cover.

Inspired by her lifelong connection to Decatur, Jodi’s piece, Uniquely Treasured, invites viewers to see the city as “a vibrant, one-of-a-kind world worth cherishing.”

We’re checking in, Decatur!

The City has been making progress on the actions outlined in our Strategic Plan, Destination 2030. As part of this effort, we’ve launched a Comprehensive Plan “Check-In” to help guide growth and development through 2030 and beyond.

We want to hear from you! Participating in the comprehensive plan survey will help us understand how the City is doing and where adjustments may be needed.
