The Atlanta Citizen Review Board had an amazing time at the 2nd Annual Greenbriar Western Event. The day was filled with interactive line dancing, along with community vendors offering a variety of food, drinks, and other fun items. Amidst the music, you could find us informing citizens of Southwest Atlanta about police oversight. We can't wait till next year to attend this hoedown again!

Do you know what happens after a complaint is filed with the Atlanta Citizen Review Board?

These graphs break down the reasons a case may be dismissed before an investigation begins and how frequently each reason occurs. They also show the number of cases accepted by the ACRB compared with the number investigated each year.

The most consistent reason an allegation is not investigated is lack of jurisdiction, meaning the officer involved was not an Atlanta Police Department officer or Atlanta Department of Corrections officer.

If you have questions or concerns involving the Atlanta Police Department or Atlanta Department of Corrections, visit http://www.acrbgov.org/?utm_campaign=coschedule&utm_source=facebook_page&utm_medium=Atlanta%20%20Citizen%20%20Review%20%20Board or call 404-865-8622 to learn more or file a complaint.
