ST. PAUL, MN – A federal court has ruled disarming people who have domestic violence protection orders against them does not “fit within our Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation.”

We call on our courts across the country to recognize the importance of domestic violence-related firearm prohibitions designed to save lives. Survivors of domestic violence deserve better.

Let’s Make Georgia Safer Together.

Our mission is to promote lifesaving legislation in the State of Georgia and to empower our Police Officers to ensure the safety of other Officers and save the lives of victims of domestic violence.

From 2010 to 2017, 758 Georgia citizens lost their lives to fi****ms in domestic violence-related incidents. That’s enough to almost fill two Boeing 747 airliners. By enacting already existing federal legislation in the State of Georgia, we believe that our state could see the 14% reduction in domestic violence-related firearm deaths that other states who have adopted this legislation have experienced. Watch our video at https://www.safergeorgia.com/#video for an explanation of the issues and proposed legislation.
