PUBLIC NOTICE: In observance of the Labor Day holiday, Forest Park City Hall and administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 8, for normal business hours.

The Forest Park City Council will hold thier next work session and general body meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, beginning at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers (745 Forest Pkwy.).

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: UPCOMING LANE CLOSURES 🚧

Beginning Tuesday, September 8, crews will begin roadway and bridge work on Hank Aaron Drive between Pollard Boulevard and Memorial Drive.

Drivers should expect the following traffic impacts:

🔸 Tuesday, September 8: The southbound right lane will be fully closed for sidewalk improvements.

🔸 Beginning Wednesday, September 9: Grooving work will require a hard lane closure. Traffic may be diverted as necessary.

🔸 Week of September 14: Rolling lane closures are anticipated for bridge-deck sealing. Specific dates and times will be shared once confirmed.

Please use caution, follow all posted signs and directions from traffic-control personnel, and allow additional travel time.

Construction schedules are weather-dependent and subject to change.
