GEORGIA "Grady healthcare represents a fair chance at a healthy life.” The presence of Grady Health System in South Fulton is not just an expansion it's a lifeline. For too long, residents in this part of our county have faced longer travel times, limited access to care, and higher rates of chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease illnesses that require consistent, accessible care to manage and prevent life threatening complications. HB69 2023-2024 Georgia Triple Threat SNAP Act; https://www.legis.ga.gov/legislation/63628
Through an expanded ambulatory network, residents will have greater access to primary care, specialty services, and preventive treatment right in their community helping catch issues early and manage conditions before they become emergencies.
In critical moments, minutes can mean the difference between life and death, and access to Grady’s level of care brings those moments closer to home. But just as important, it creates a system of ongoing care that keeps people healthier, reduces hospitalizations, and improves quality of life. This is about more than healthcare it’s about equity, dignity, and ensuring that every resident, regardless of where they live, has a fair chance at a healthy life.”
