As Atlantic City continues to attract new investment, having stronger tools to deal with properties that have been left behind will be an important part of ensuring neighborhoods are positioned to benefit from the city’s broader redevelopment.

The positives in Atlantic City are becoming harder to miss. During a tour of the Orange Loop, U.S. Senator Cory Booker saw firsthand the energy surrounding Atlantic City’s small businesses, new development and growing investment.

Senator Booker highlighted the city’s unique character and the investment now taking place, saying, “Everything that’s going on here is extraordinary. This is one of America’s great, historic cities.”

He also pointed to something increasingly evident across Atlantic City: “I love seeing the investment rushing in here.”

From the Orange Loop to new residential development and small businesses opening their doors, there is plenty of positive momentum happening across the city, and leaders, entrepreneurs and investors from outside Atlantic City are taking notice.

💼 🖤 Atlantic City's Black Business Expo brought together entrepreneurs, business owners and community members for an evening of networking, learning and, most importantly, supporting local businesses.

It was great to see so many vendors have the opportunity to showcase their products and services, meet potential customers and connect with other entrepreneurs. For everyone who attended, the evening was an informative and enlightening look at the talent, creativity and business potential that exists right here in Atlantic City.

Nobody supports Atlantic City’s business community quite like the Small Administration, making small businesses a priority, especially minority-owned businesses.
