We had a great day participating in yesterday’s Touch-a-Truck at the Attica Fair. Days like these are great ways to get kids exposed to the trades and show them what it looks like to be a line worker! ⚡️💡

If you're at the fair today, stop by NCE's tent and say hello!

UPDATE: Carey Substation has been back fed through our SCADA system and those affected should have power at the moment. Once the transmission issue is fixed, there may be a momentary blink when we transfer full load capabilities back to Carey.
--------------------------------------------
Currently, NCE is experiencing an outage affecting around 1,600 members served by our Carey Substation in what is likely a transmission-related issue outside of the cooperative's direct control. Our operations and engineering teams are currently evaluating the situation and determining the next best steps to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

We will provide additional updates as they become available, and your patience is greatly appreciated!

NCE wants to remind our members not to post signs on electric poles. Attaching unauthorized items to utility poles can weaken the pole and create safety hazards for our NCE linemen. While it may be tempting to post those garage sale signs and attach your birdhouses, please do your part in helping us keep our community and linemen safe as they work to deliver the reliable power you depend on each day! If you have any questions, please contact our operations department at 419-426-3072.
