As as small unincorporated community, we don't have many public restrooms. And while we continue to work on a plan for that (ie restrooms), we DO have port-a-potties available - complete with handwashing stations - in Ping's Pioneer Park. They are serviced and cleaned regularly.

We appreciate all of the local Montanans and visitors that come to and through Augusta.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: Augusta Youth Center.

A local nonprofit organization, the Augusta Youth Center is committed to enhancing the learning and growth of the youth of Augusta through sports, camps and other programs. They serve approximately 75 kids, with sports that include flag football, camps, wrestling, basketball, t-ball, baseball, softball and drill team. The AYC also operates the local community pool, which is open now.

Save the date and plan to check out Montana Shakespeare in the Parks at Sun Canyon Lodge & Outfitting on Tuesday, August 11!

The fun kicks off at 5 p.m., with live music from The Loose Mules, followed by Much Ado About Nothing at 6 p.m. Drinks and picnic dinners will be served outside.
