Kitley's Krypt

Kitley's Krypt Pushing for a Laurie Depies Memorial The City of Appleton has called for its parking ramps to be renamed. Please support the Laurie Depies Memorial Parking Ramp.

I propose that one of the ramps be renamed the Laurie Depies Memorial Ramp. By renaming this ramp, and perhaps by adding a plaque inside, we can keep the memory of Laurie alive, and create an awareness in our community that one of the Fox Cities' residents has been missing since 1992. With a greater awareness, we CAN catch her killer/kidnapper.

I'm sure you all heard the news, but if not...

Police are searching in south-central Wisconsin for the remains of Laurie Depies in an effort to verify Larry DeWayne Hall's confession that he abducted and killed the Appleton woman in 1992.

Facebook will not let me change the name of this group because we're over 100 people... from here on out just consider it the Laurie Depies Memorial Page.

Looks like we're tapering off now...

Michael King of the Post-Crescent is working on a story on this cause. I am more of a moderator and have no personal memories of Laurie. If any friend or family wanted to voice their support before the article goes to print, Mike can be reached at 1-920-729-6622 extention 33.

The goal of 1000 by dawn fell a bit short, but this is still an amazing outpouring. It is truly heart-warming to know how strong Laurie is in everyone's hearts/minds after all these years.

700 to roughly 900 in just over 24 hours... we will reach and pass the 1000 by dawn on Monday! Keep the letters to the Common Council going.

04/08/2011

From 600 to 700 within 12 hours... can we get 1000?

04/08/2011

The response has been amazing... we went from 200 on Tuesday to 500 today, and already up past 600 in a few hours! Keep up the good work, and don't hesitate to e-mail the Appleton Common Council... a few e-mails can't hurt their voting decisions!

03/21/2011

We have reached 51 with a goal of 100... and have a week and a half remaining... push on!

03/17/2011

Still lingering around 44... not making the progress I would like to see. The City Council votes the first week of April. We have to show them how serious we are.
