HARMON SCHOOL FALL FUNDRAISER 2026

The Harmon School Fall Fundraiser begins on August 25th and will run through September 8, 2026. This year the Funderworks Fundraiser will consist of purchasing magazine subscriptions, gift items, Tervis tumblers, candles and over 1,000 additional items. We ask for your help promoting this fundraiser as money raised will offset the costs of 6th Grade Camp and the 7th & 8th grade Washington, D.C. trip.

Harmon Middle School will be holding an evening Open House at Harmon School for parents of students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. The date/times are listed below:

6th Grade: August 25, 2026 ~ 7:00 p.m.

7th & 8th Grade: August 26, 2026 ~ 7:00 p.m.

This gives parents the opportunity to tour the school, follow their student’s class schedule, meet the teachers and gain valuable information for the coming school year.

The Aurora High School Open House will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2026. It will begin at 7:00 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. at AHS. This open house gives parents/guardians of high school students the opportunity to tour the school, follow their student’s class schedule, meet the teachers who will give an overview of their respective courses and gain valuable information for the coming school year.

NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION (Class of 2030, New Upperclassmen Students, 6th Graders & New Harmon School Students) ~ Monday, August 17, 2026

New Student Orientation for AHS Class of 2030/New Upperclassmen Students and all 6th graders, including students new to the district at Harmon School, will take place on Monday, August 17, 2026. Harmon School’s orientation will run from 7:40 – 9:45 a.m. The Aurora High School’s orientation will run from 7:40 – 10:50 a.m.

School buses will run their regular morning pick-up schedule for these students and the buses will be available to transport student’s home after orientation ends. Students should bring their class schedule and locker information with them.

Please visit the Miller School Open House in your child’s classroom on August 14, 2026 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. to meet the teacher and see the new classroom.

Please bring your child's school supplies to the Open House! If your last name is A-L it's helpful to come between 3:00-4:00 and if your last name starts with M-Z to come between 4:00-5:00. If these time frames don't work for your family, please feel free to arrive any time during the 3:00-5:00 window. Hope to see you then!
