With cooler temps in the forecast, there's no better time to brave . And now, the scares start even sooner because we're open Friday nights! Join us tonight for all the chills the Halloween season has to offer.

📝 Note: Children's attractions in DC Super Friends, Bugs Bunny BoomTown, and Carousel Hill are not open during Friday night Fright Fest operations.

Guess who's rotating again? 🙌

Acrophobia is a free fall drop tower that's been bringing high-altitude attitude to since 2001. The attraction, manufactured by Intamin, offers beautiful views of the park from 200ft in the air.

As riders ascend towards the sky, they rotate around the tower before tilting out at a stomach-dropping 15-degree angle. After a suspenseful pause at the top, they plunge back to earth at speeds up to 50 mph.

Last year, Acrophobia received refreshed queue theming and a bold new red-and-white paint scheme. This year, as the attraction marks its 25th anniversary, our maintenance team has restored the ride’s signature rotating and tilting effects, returning the full experience guests have come to know and love.
