“Before JAG, I was failing every class. Now, I am passing every class with A’s and B’s." ~Bryan Schaffer, Senior JHS
“Life before the JAG program was rough, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, let alone how to get there. That is where JAG came in, It helped me sort out my strengths and weakness to find a career that fits for me, as well put me on the right track to get there. I woul
d recommend the JAG program to anyone who has goals into their life, and is willing to put the time and effort into accomplishing them.” ~Janelle Sauer, Junior JHS
I want to start off by saying this class is a very helpful class. A lot of students argue that school doesn't teach basic life skills but JAG takes place of that. I started the JAG Program July 27, 2016, my senior year. I was referred to JAG by my best friend. She would always tell me how great and helpful this class is and I took the bait. Once Mr. Cleveland found out I was a Senior his goal was to help me towards college which motivated me. I learned how to do better interviews, resumes, cover letters, and so much more. Even though I know 98% of the things taught in JAG, I would see how much it impacted the Juniors. I have seen one Junior take full advantage of the program. He has really matured and dedicated himself to the program. I have seen it help him in so many ways. He won at the Regional CDC conference this year. He wants to be a music producer and Mr. Cleveland is making sure he gets there. If you are a student that wants to learn more than just math, English, Government, etc., JAG is the best program to join. You'll grow into responsible young adults and you'll be college ready when you graduate. This program is only here to help students. ~Kaled'a DuPree
