Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads in our My World family! 💙

Thank you for the love, guidance, encouragement, and laughter you bring to your children's lives each day. We were so happy to welcome dads into our classrooms this week for a special Father's Day Breakfast and to share a glimpse of the learning, friendships, and memories being made at My World Child Care Center and Montessori.

Wishing all fathers, grandfathers, and father figures a wonderful Father's Day weekend filled with love and special moments.

The Power of Concentration 🌟

As we prepare for our Moving Up Ceremony, our children have been spending extra time rehearsing songs and presentations. Returning to the classroom work cycle provides a welcome sense of calm and balance.

It is always a joy to observe the children deeply engaged in meaningful work, exploring materials independently, and developing concentration, confidence, and a love of learning. Moments like these remind us that some of the most important learning happens when children are free to follow their curiosity in a carefully prepared environment.

One of the foundational Practical-Life activity in our classroom is Walking on the Line. This seemingly simple activity helps to enhance several developmental purposes: Balance and Coordination, Body Awareness, Muscular Control, Concentration and Brain Development.

Today our children were introduced to a fun gross motor challenge outdoors! Activities such as walking on the line, zig-zag jumping, balancing, and movement games help children develop coordination, concentration, body awareness, and confidence.

At My World Child Care Center and Montessori, learning happens through movement, exploration, and hands-on experiences that support the development of the whole child.

💙 A Special Message from a My World Family 💙

We recently shared a classroom memory from 2023, and one of our former parents sent us this wonderful video of her daughter singing our Morning Song at home.

Along with the video, she shared these kind words:

"Our daughter mentions My World and all teachers very often. We loved she was learning sign language 💕 — look at the video, and she still remembers."

Moments like these remind us that the experiences children have in their early years stay with them long after they leave our classrooms. Whether it's a favorite song, a special lesson, learning sign language, or memories of beloved teachers, these connections can last for years.
