The Avondale Senior Art Scholarship contest was put on with excellence! Congratulations to the winners and all that participated. The Art is fantastic!Special thanks to Mayor Mike Pineda, AMAC, Avondale City Staff, EMCC, Teachers, Tim, and parents. It’s good to see that Avondale supports the arts and higher education. It is also a blessing to see an idea that I had so long ago still exists today.

Attention Avondale High School seniors with artistic talent! I had the honor of creating this schlorship opportunity for you and I am grateful it is still here today. The Avondale Municipal Art Committee is looking for entries for the 2026 Senior Art Scholarship Contest. Show off your skills for a chance to win scholarship money and have your art displayed! The contest starts on February 2, with entries due by March 12. Use any medium you like, from photography to ceramics. Visit www.AvondaleAZ.gov and search "High School Art Contest." Submit your gallery-ready art between March 16-27 at Avondale City Hall or Civic Center Library. Scholarships include $2,000 for 1st place, $1,500 for 2nd, $1,000 for 3rd and will go directly to your college of choice.
