COP had an active Saturday in the neighborhood! All before noon, we held a community cleanup, hosted BPD, DHCD, and a liaison from the Mayor’s Office for a 311 walk, and canvassed the neighborhood to distribute information door hangers about our organization.

2. Our cleanup team helped haul multiple truckloads of trash, dumped items, and weeds left around the neighborhood during Friends of Carroll Park Baltimore ‘s dumpster day.
3. With the help of neighbors bringing their own items to dump and the cleanup crew, we filled an entire dumpster before noon.

6. Major Middleton and Baltimore Police Department colleagues joined our Safety and City Action Committee on a 311 Walk targeting illegal dumping hotspots, abandoned vehicles, and other problem areas along James Street and Glyndon Avenue.
7. The 311 Walk stops to chat with a neighbor about her positive experience as a recent transplant to Pigtown neighborhood.
8. 311 walk results in action- DPW came out same day to address dumping and unsightliness identified on the walk.
9. The Engagement and Communication Committee out and about spreading the word about COP.
