Did you know by donating to the Baltimore Civic Fund you help offices like LGBTQ Affairs provide much needed resources and support to members of the Baltimore Community.

In the past we've used the fund to support housing for members of the Trans community, advance LGBTQ+ Equity and Accessibility in community spaces, provide food for community members, and supply Baltimoreans with educational, fun, and safe gatherings rooted in LGBTQIA+ culture and community.

If you'd like to aid our support of the LGBTQIA+ community, donate to the Baltimore Civic Fund.

The Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs was proud to join the Lakeland community for National Night Out! 💙

This kind of community connection and engagement is central to Mayor Brandon M. Scott’s vision for a safer Baltimore because reducing violence also means strengthening neighborhoods, building trust, and creating meaningful relationships between residents and their government.

A special thank you to the Lakeland Community Association Partnership, Inc. for the warm welcome and for hosting such an amazing evening. It was also great connecting with Maryland Senate President Senator Bill Ferguson who represents this incredible 46th district.

Thank you, Lakeland, for welcoming us and reminding us what strong community looks like. 💙

See the film before it's made!

“The Boi One” follows Egypt, the heir to a historic Baltimore doll shop who pretends to be a stud to win the heart of a woman who "doesn't date femmes." What begins as a small lie becomes a moving journey about real love, gender norms, and finding your truest self!

Join the creator of 195 Lewis, Jade Flower Foster, for a staged reading of a new Black, Q***r, Love Story.

Join Greedy Reads and their Black Folx Book Club for Black Folx Book Club Goes Sailing on August 13th from 7-8:30p.m. at the Fells Point Water Taxi Stop.

"The Black Folx Book Club goes sailing on the Baltimore Water Taxi for an evening of bubbly, book swapping, and fun!

Join our Black Folx Book Club for a sunset sail!

This month we’re taking our reading space for Black women and Black qu**rs back onto Baltimore’s waters! We’ll be casually chatting about the August pick, They All Fall in Love at the End by Haili Blassingame , but having read the book is not a requirement! This is an opportunity to connect, chat books, and explore new (or re-discover) titles and authors while enjoying the Baltimore harbor and sunset. Bring a book (or two or a few) to swap!

Regularly, The Black Folx Book Club meets in person at our Re*****on store, but this time we’ll be meeting on the Fells Point Baltimore Water Taxi.

This year's Black Folx Book Club cruise is produced in partnership with the Baltimore Mayor's Office of LGBTQ Affairs."
