Say hello to our InCommunity Intern, Michelle, joining us from JHU Center for Social Concern!👋

Throughout this academic year, Michelle's been hard at work revamping our Older Youth Resources Guide to meet the needs of our aging out youth and their volunteers.

She's bringing her experiences in mentorship and tutoring, and her background as a first-gen student, to specifically cater to young people without strong support networks.

In her words, advocacy is about "showing up, listening without judgment, and doing what you can to make sure [youth] needs and perspectives are taken seriously." We couldn't say it better ourselves!

Thank you, Michelle, for all of your hard work!

This past Saturday, CASA finished out strong for Steps of Caring! We walked our 5K with staff, Board, loved ones, and beautiful winter weather, all in support of Baltimore youth in foster care.

⚡Special thank you to Charm City Run for setting up a replenishment station with water and treats to keep our energy up all morning!
