Got the chance to spend some time with Governor Moore and the champs, celebrating Coach Mack, Quad, Tyrell, Malik, and the Time to Grind family.

The belts deserve to be celebrated. So does the discipline, commitment, sacrifice, and work it took to earn them. Time to Grind is building champions while impacting the lives of young people from across the 45th District, Baltimore, and throughout Maryland.

Appreciate my brother Governor Moore for always making space to celebrate our people and uplift the gifts and talents of others. Greatness deserves to be recognized.

It’s not how you start—it’s how you get back up and finish.

Honored to spend time with educators from across Maryland who are working with our young people through the Department of Juvenile Services. Every young person has potential, and the educators who continue to pour into them, challenge them, and remind them of what is still possible can make all the difference.

Technology changes fast.

Our responsibility is making sure opportunity keeps pace.

Had a great conversation with Tech Frederick at Hood College about workforce development, education, innovation—and why apprenticeship continues to be one of the strongest bridges between talent and opportunity.

College is a pathway. Apprenticeship is a pathway. The win is making sure our young people know the doors exist and have what they need to walk through them.

Such a great conversation about the importance of apprenticeships, mentorship, skilled trades, and creating pathways to opportunity for young people who may not thrive in traditional educational settings. So good to see you again, Cory and thank you!

Sometimes the assignment is simply to tell them what you wish somebody had told you.

Spent time with the young scholars of Banners Hockey sharing some of my journey—the mistakes, the lessons, and how an apprenticeship changed the direction of my life.

Matt and Isaac, keep creating spaces for our young people to see more for themselves. You never know which conversation becomes the one they carry with them.

Appreciated the opportunity to spend the morning with Mayor Scott, Dr. Dawson, Delegates Addison, Branch, and Young welcoming our young scholars back to Hazelwood Elementary/Middle School.

Principal Rice, thank you to you and your entire team for always welcoming us with open arms and, more importantly, for how you pour into our young people every single day.
