Bandera ISD is proud to announce Keleigh Weatherson as our new Middle School Girls Coordinator!

A proud Bandera High School Class of 2017 graduate, Coach Weatherson was a 2 sport letterman in Volleyball and Basketball and was also involved in athletic training during her time as a Bulldog.

Coach Weatherson continued her education at Texas A&M University, where she earned her degree in Sport Management with a minor in Coaching as part of the Class of 2021.

She is entering her 6th year in education, including the last 2 years right here in her hometown of Bandera, TX. Before returning home to Bandera ISD, Coach Weatherson proudly coached at Odem Edroy ISD and Conroe ISD.

Along with serving as Middle School Girls Coordinator, Coach Weatherson will also coach Middle School Volleyball, Basketball, and Track & Field.

We are excited to see her continue leading and investing in our student athletes while growing the future of Lady Bulldog athletics. Please help us congratulate Coach Weatherson on this exciting new leadership opportunity!

Attention Bandera families! If you missed the pre-registration deadline, you can still get your physical for the 2026-2027 school year TOMORROW, May 14th.

Please take note of the updated cost and payment requirements below, as they have changed now that the initial deadline has passed.

NEW TRACK RECORDS BOARD ALERT!! 🥇🐾💙

If you go into the gym hallway at the middle school you will notice something new hanging on the wall. The track record board is now complete with a lot of this years track athletes with their names on it. Coach Edwards and myself went as far back to 2013 for the best track and field times. Shout out to our coaches this year Coach Mata, Coach Acevedo, Coach Weatherson, and Coach Nelson for keeping and updating times for the board. I hope this is a motivation for track athletes for years to come.

We are excited to host our annual middle school track meet tomorrow afternoon, February 25th, right here in the Cowboy Capital of the World! It’s going to be a great day of competition as we welcome athletes from Bandera, D'Hanis, Devine, Cornerstone, and Cole.

Come out and support our young Bulldogs as they compete on their home turf! 🐾🔵⚪️

2:00 PM: 3200M Run (All Divisions)

2:00 PM: Field Events Begin: Shot Put, Discus, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, and Pole Vault

5:30 PM: Running Finals Begin (Starting with the 400M Relay)

The 2026 track season started out last week with a BANG! Our BMS Bulldogs headed to Ingram and came home with some serious hardware! 🐾🔥

🥇 8th Grade Boys: 1st Place Overall
🥈 8th Grade Girls: 2nd Place Overall
🥈 7th Grade Boys: 2nd Place Overall

The Girls: ✨ Lila Hicks (7th): QUAD-GOLD! 1st in High Jump, Long Jump, 100m, & 200m, and 4x100!
✨ Emily Short (8th): 1st in 100m & 4x100m Relay!
