Man was the Bangor city council meeting last night something to behold. Grown men going up to the podium saying they don’t feel safe, grown women in the audience not shutting the f**k up when she heard someone being nice to unhoused people, people coming to complain with no real solutions, and finally a dork named Joe Sokol whose entire job was to go their and record people for the Maine Wire. Of course there were great people who came to defend the unhoused population but if all you do is go to the city to complain that unhoused people exist then you’re a loser plain and simple 🤷

Local office is extremely important and all these candidates I’m endorsing have shown to put in the work, and while some don’t have any primary challengers it is still good for people to know where I stand on these candidates. I know each of them will continue to put in the work once elected to make Maine, and by extension Bangor a better place to live!

The City of Bangors council of “progressives” strikes again with another anti-unhoused city ordinance. They create a “problem” of stuff on the sidewalk by kicking people out of Pierce Park and then change some ordinance to stop people putting their stuff of the sidewalk. Let me ask where exactly will the ordinance end? Will kids not be able to put up basketball hoops on their road? How about lemonade stands are those now banned from the ordinance? People cheering this on simply are so blinded by ignorance and hatred of unhoused people they don’t see the full scope of what this means. It’s tiring to cheer on people pushing themselves as progressives and leftists just for them to act like this once elected.
