On Tuesday evening, our crews had the opportunity to train with WIPERC during a hands-on propane emergency response training. Participants reviewed propane properties, incident hazards, safety considerations, and practical response tactics while working through realistic scenarios.

This type of training is invaluable in helping our personnel stay prepared for emergencies involving propane systems and other hazardous situations. We appreciate the instructors from WIPERC for sharing their knowledge and providing a safe environment for our members to build and sharpen these skills.

Continuous training ensures we are ready to serve our community safely, effectively, and professionally when called upon.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the training a success.

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program is an entry-level course that meets Wisconsin licensure requirements and offers certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. This program is available throughout the district, providing life-saving skills and training.
