It appears the scammers are at it again. If you get a call from someone named Ronald Bradley, badge #737, with a phone number of 608 927-3484, claiming to be from our department, WE DO NOT HAVE ANYONE WORKING HERE BY THAT NAME. Please do not give them any information or return any calls to this person.

Detective Isaac Hanson was also recognized for his investigative work on a missing person case from 1962. After many hours of following up on potential leads, he was able to locate the missing person living in another state.

Several community members were recognized for life saving efforts for an event that took place on August 20, 2025. It was reported that a subject had collapsed at a local golf course. Several bystanders began CPR while others went to retrieve an AED. Due to the quick actions of Travis Dubord, Robert Reynolds, Douglas Baird, James Tracy, William Sarnow, and Helen Gudlewski, they were able to revive the subject where he was later transported to a local hospital. Great job everyone!

On September 12th, Habitat for Humanity stopped by with some wonderful gifts for our K9s and their handlers. The brightly colored crates were hand painted by some of the local children. We are so grateful to have such wonderful citizens of Sauk County. Thank you Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area for your support!
