This year, your generosity will make an incredible impact supporting 275 K-9 handlers across 91 police departments throughout West Virginia and parts of Kentucky & Ohio.

We’re raising funds to equip every participating K-9 unit with a specialized medical duffel bag—packed with life-saving supplies to stabilize injured K-9 officers in the field and help ensure they receive timely emergency veterinary care.

Starting in August, handlers will also receive hands-on training to confidently use this equipment when it matters most.

🙌🏻 A huge thank you to Cabell-Huntington Health Department for providing Narcan for all of this year’s K-9 teams!

Santa has arrived at the Mall—and so have his helpers!

Our officers will be increasing patrols this week inside the Mall to make sure holiday shopping stays safe and cheerful.

Be respectful, make good choices, and stay on Santa’s nice list this season. Otherwise, it’s coal and switches from these guys.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our Barboursville Police Department K-9 Unit Supporters.
