👋🏻 Hello Summer
Remember your life goals do not stop when you go home for the summer. Remember, you can make good decisions when you have strong emotions, you can be ok when other people or things around you maybe aren’t ok, and you can do hard things even if you don’t want to and especially if you know it's the right thing to do. I also want you to know that adults work on those life goals too. We have highlight reels and work and progress moments just like you.
As you head into summer, also consider these words someone once shared with me: to conduct the orchestra you must turn your back on the audience. That right there is where a lot of people are going to quit because it’s uncomfortable to stop looking for approval. It’s uncomfortable to stop checking who is clapping, who is watching, who is judging, and who understands what you are building. You cannot lead the music if you keep turning around for validation.
So as we move forward…whether into summer, a new grade, a new role, a new chapter…keep showing up with courage, heart, and purpose. Keep leading. Keep reading. Keep growing. Keep believing in the work, even when the applause is quiet. The music you are making matters. Always. Keep on being Rockets and never stop being YOU!
