Paint, Pour, & More !🎨🖌️✨

Looking for a fun night of creativity and good vibes? Join us for Paint, Pour, & More! Come paint, dance, relax, and enjoy a fun Friday night. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

**Wildwood Cemetery Tree Removal Notice**

The City of Bartow Parks & Recreation Department would like to inform the community that a large tree recently fell at Wildwood Cemetery.

No headstones or other property were damaged. The Electric Department inspected the area and determined that another nearby tree has lost its supporting roots and is leaning significantly. For safety reasons, the tree will be removed.

We appreciate your understanding as crews work to help keep Wildwood Cemetery safe for visitors and the community.

Parks & Recreation programs are an integral part of the services offered by municipalities throughout this country, including in Bartow, where they are vitally important to establishing and maintaining the quality of life and contributing to the health economic and environmental well-being of our community and region.

Through efforts by National Parks & Recreation Association, the US House of Representatives passed an official resolution for Parks and Recreation Month in 2009, and introduced the resolution in 2017 and 2018.

Parks and Recreation Month is observed in July and recognizes the more than 160,000 full-time parks and recreation professionals — along with hundreds of thousands of part-time and seasonal workers and volunteers — who maintain the country’s local, state and community parks.

At their meeting earlier this month, the Bartow City Commission presented a proclamation to Bartow Parks & Rec team, thanking them for their contributions to our City.
