Results are official! I’m extremely humbled by the support over the past few months. Thank you to everyone who donated (both time and money), posted yard signs, handed out door hangers, and just spread the word.

I look forward to representing this amazing community and can’t wait to get started!

We continue to be humbled by the outpouring of support the past few weeks, leading up to yesterday. Over 80 signs were scattered through all of Ward 6 and over 1,000 door hangers were distributed. To everyone that posted a yard sign, passed out door hangers, or just spread our vision through word of mouth… thank you!

If you do have a sign in your yard, please do us a favor and take it down and leave it on your front porch. We are down on the Gulf for spring break but will be back this weekend to come pick up any signs.

A little over a year ago, I was asked by a neighbor if I had ever considered running for city council. I laughed and replied “Nope… I don’t think politics are my thing.”

Today, I checked the box next to my name as a candidate for alderman. To say this has been a surreal experience for my family is an understatement. We’ve been humbled by the support and encouragement from neighbors, both ones we’ve known for years and others that we have met just in the past few weeks.

I will never be a “politician”. I am and always will be a husband, a father, and a neighbor focused on making Batavia a place we all are proud to call our home... a community my children want to raise their families. If given the opportunity, I would be honored to serve this community.

If you haven’t already voted, please make a plan to do so on or before April 1st!

We are one (1) week away from Election Day! As of March 24th, over 20,000 people have already voted early!

If you are out of town for spring break, make you have a plan to vote between now and when you leave!

I’m honored to be endorsed by the current Ward 6 Alderman, Nick Cerone, who is stepping down after 12 years of serving the Batavia community. I’m beyond grateful for all the support and mentoring you have provided over the past few months. Thank you for your service! You are leaving some big shoes to fill and I only hope that I’m given the opportunity to do so.

Early voting is open. Get out and do your part. I am endorsing Matt Anderson as my replacement.

Early voting is now available at Batavia City Hall (Monday to Sunday, from now until Election Day). See attached for early voting locations and times open.

Happy Friday! As an update to my post from yesterday, I have been in contact with representatives from the Daily Herald and received the questionnaire that was sent to other candidates. I’m in the process of responding to it and plan to submit responses no later than early next week. The Daily Herald is also working to revise the endorsement editorial to make it clear that I did not intentionally disregard their questionnaire.

The Daily Herald did not have my correct email address… it was an honest mistake. I appreciate the Daily Herald working with me to make sure I’m afforded the same platform as other candidates to discuss my vision for the City of Batavia. I look forward to discussing any follow-up questions with the Daily Herald in the coming days.

Good afternoon, everyone! This morning I was just made aware of the attached Daily Herald Endorsements article by one of my neighbors where it was noted that I did not submit answers to their questionnaire and was honestly caught off guard as I never was contacted by the Daily Herald or received this questionnaire.

I love the City of Batavia and pride myself on transparency. I attended the League of Women Voters forum several weeks ago and would have responded to their questionnaire if I had received one. I respect The Daily Herald’s opinions / endorsements and am not asking them to change anything… I just ask that I’m afforded the same opportunity as my opponent to provide a response.

I have reached out to the Daily Herald requesting that the article be corrected and offering to provide responses to the questionnaire if still able to do so. We will keep you posted!
