Over a year ago, this was brought up again. Today, the Supervisor is telling residents that this is not on the agenda. Doesn’t mean he is not going to still try to sneak it in!! We need to remain alert and involved!!

Monitor Township!! from a concerned citizen. We need to share this.

SHAME ON YOU is all I can say about this township board and its so called “leader” who very obviously has it out for the fire chief for some reason. For someone who has been a township resident for >30years, fire chief nearly 20 and an on-call firefighter for several years prior that, for someone who has worked countless hours day/night dedicating himself to his role, his department, organizing and running the bay county fire academy, someone who is well respected, loved and appreciated by so many and puts this community first….shame on all of you for taking such a negative stance against him. What did he do to any of you for you to treat him this way? How has he failed as a leader to deserve the treatment the board is giving him? I don’t ever recall concerns being raised about the Chief, his performance, his department, his firefighters etc. before this “supervisor” came along….and all of a sudden he’s tarnished and no good? Get over yourself…Absolutely disgusting and makes me want to leave this township altogether….shame on YOU!!

Apparently Terrys Spencer’s campaign is part of Township business! Every other election they made people that their signs out of that parking lot.

REMEMBER YOU CANNOT SPLIT THE TICKET. For this to work, we need everyone to work their way down the Republican side.

Supervisor- Brandt

Clerk- don’t vote for her as she does not live in the township

Treasurer- LEAVE BLANK as Sue Pike on the dem ticket is who we’re backing in November!

Trustee says to vote for four, but these three are the only ones worth representing us.

It’s very important to only choose 3, if you vote for the others that are Terrys yes men, then we will just be keeping the votes equal across the board.

This is the most impactful election in the history of Monitor Township.

If we get Brandt in for Supervisor, Pike for treasure, and the three trustees listed above, we the voters will return the township to the voters!!

Isn’t time that we say enough is enough?! I brought this to everyone’s attention when we first started hearing about this, the Supervisor told the people directly to their face that he had no discussions with Bay Future about this project!

Terry Spencer, why don’t you explain to the citizens how you and the clerk Linda made what you refer to as an “executive” decision to allow your contractor on this project go over the approved budget that was voted on by the Township Board??? Explain how YOU allowed them to nearly DOUBLE the project bid without getting approval from the Township Board…? You say that the work had to be down for the upcoming rental of the hall for a wedding… You said there was a time crunch and the work had to be done as quick as possible, so you decided not to follow the law and our Township Charter by NOT getting the full board approval to spend the extra money!! Because of the upcoming wedding right? The wedding that you knew had been CANCELED in January!! There was no time crunch!!! This is political corruption at its finest!! Laws were broken! And as you being the highly decorated police chief you paint yourself to be, you should be the first one to admit this, but you want zero transparency and you are not able to tolerate people that call out your corruption! You just want to try everything in you power to fire them. Where is the accountability that our citizens deserve!!

Terry has been telling people at the local watering hole that when re-elected he will be moving forward with negotiations with surrounding townships on opening a metro police department which of course he will be the department police chief.. We need to pay attention here folks!! When taxpayers say no, Terry hears yes just do it at a later time.

Our Township is ran worse then a circus!! Is the meeting tomorrow at 5pm as advertised on the Townships webpage, or at 7pm on the meeting agenda put out to the public!!? Great job Terry, you will do anything not to have people show up to the meetings!! Yet another OMA violation!!
