Have a business idea but aren’t sure where to start? Or maybe you’re ready to take the next step with your business? Join us for the Business Launch Training Lab: From Idea to Action, presented in partnership with the Kentucky Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Beattyville Main Street.

The workshop will be held:

This training is designed for individuals who are considering starting a business, have an idea they would like to develop, or are looking for guidance and resources to move their business forward. Kentucky SBDC professionals will be on hand to provide practical information and support to help participants move from idea to action.

📢 Candidate Filing Deadline Reminder

If you are interested in running for a nonpartisan office in the City of Beattyville, the deadline to file is Tuesday, June 2, 2026. This includes the offices of Mayor and Beattyville City Council. Candidates must file the required paperwork by the deadline for their names to appear on the November 3, 2026 General Election ballot. 

For information on candidate filing requirements and forms, contact the Lee County Clerk’s Office or visit the Kentucky State Board of Elections candidate filing resources.
