Hi! Some folks from Beaver Dam recently asked if I’m committed to our school district since some of my children have attended local private schools for a portion of their education. I’m happy to share detailed record of who attended which schools, when, and why- with anyone privately. But the number is 30 YEARS. I’ve parented BDUSD publicly educated children for a cumulative total of 30 school years and counting…13 more to go! If that suffices for you, I’d appreciate your vote for Beaver Dam Board of Education on April 7. Sidenote: any private school expenses were out of pocket for our family; we have never used vouchers or benefited from School Choice programs.
