The first walk and talk went well yesterday. It was a wet and chilly day for sure, hopefully next time a little nicer weather. We had a nice walk and tour of the Park, including all that goes on behind the scenes so to speak.

Good evening Friends of Sahli Park.
I hope this chilly evening finds those who want to be nice and toasty, toasty or those like me who love being out in this weather, wet but content.. The time when it is just an explosion of growth. For those interested we are having a forest walk this coming Saturday at 10:00 am.. Last month we took one during our first Green Fest day. It will be interesting to see and share with you some of the life of the forest. So amazingly rich with life and these wet overcast days make all the colors pop. 😉

Take care, gotta go the night sounds and those who create this amazing symphony have awakened from their long slumber.........

Happy Morhers Day awith a heart felt wish fro.m Sahli. To All Mothers present here 'with' us and to those Mothers who have finished this part of their journey, a sincere wish for peace, joy and a sense of gratitude for the blessings you have received as a mother and some much more than that, the blessings you have bestowed so unselfishly to All our precious children, grandchildren, and the lists of motherhood are innumerable.
😊thank you❣️. Here at Sahli, we also include the non-humans, not in a weird way. But for those who truly see and hear them.... you know😉

Good evening Friends of Sahli Park!

I would imagine not All get out in this wet chilly weather.
I will say though it is a beautiful time of year to be on the paths, searching for All that are springing forth to life. For some it is their first, others a re-awakening if you will.

Indulge me if can as we saunter imaginativly speaking across the paths of Sahli's woods.

A good evening, Friends of Sahli Nature Park, or I at least hope so 😉

Friends it was a very nice day for our first Green Fest! Thank you to All who came and supported us.
We had over 100 visitors, not bad for our first. Next year we will do again, we quite enjoyed putting this event together. Special shout out to Chippewa Parks and Recreation supervisor Lauren for without her this and other events just would not happen. Great vision 😉

Good morning Friends of Sahli Park!

Please join us for our very first Green Fest event on the 18th which is this coming Saturday. It is shaping up to be a very informative and enjoyable day with planned hikes, multiple tables with a variety of different green initiatives being explained and tables for the children with games and crafts.
We are hoping this will become a yearly event. We will be running a shuttle service from Wright Field to the Park due to parking areas are being used for the event. There maybe more info on the Chippewa Parks and Recreation page.
Look forward to seeing you All and the opportunity to share our passions. 😉
