๐Ÿš’ Thank You, Heritage Fire Equipment! ๐Ÿงฏ

A big thank you to Heritage Fire Equipment for coming out to our fire station and demonstrating some of the newest fire hose technology available to the fire service.

As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining safe and reliable equipment, our department is evaluating and planning to replace some of our oldest fire hose. Hose has a limited service life, and factors such as age, physical condition, liner condition, and structural integrity are important considerations under NFPA standards.

Hands-on demonstrations like this allow our firefighters to evaluate the latest products and make informed decisions about the equipment we rely on every day.

Thank you, Heritage Fire Equipment๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿ‘ Congratulations, Assistant Fire Chief Dustin Harrison! ๐Ÿš’

Please join us in congratulating Assistant Fire Chief Dustin Harrison on earning his Chief Fire Officer (CFO) credential through the Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE)!

The CFO credential represents a significant commitment to professional development, leadership, strategic planning, risk management, emergency response, resource allocation, and community service. It recognizes fire officers who demonstrate a high level of professionalism, leadership, and dedication to continuous improvement.

This accomplishment is especially noteworthy as Assistant Chief Harrison is now one of only three credentialed officers within the Beavercreek Township Fire Department. His achievement further strengthens our departmentโ€™s commitment to professional excellence and providing the highest level of service to our community.

A Major Achievement for Beavercreek Township Fire Department! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿš’

We are incredibly proud to announce that the Beavercreek Township Fire Department (BTFD) has officially received Accredited Agency status through the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI)! ๐Ÿ†

This is a tremendous accomplishment and reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our entire department to providing the very best fire and emergency services to our community.

BTFD is now one of only 14 fire departments in the State of Ohio, and only more than 300 agencies worldwide, to achieve Internationally Accredited Agency status through CFAI and the Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE).

Accreditation is a voluntary, ongoing process focused on continuous improvement. It requires a rigorous self-assessment of our operations, extensive documentation and review, a week-long onsite assessment by peer assessors, and a hearing before CFAI. And the work doesn't stop thereโ€”we will continue to demonstrate our commitment through annual compliance reports and a full re-accreditation process every five years.

We couldn't be more proud of our members and the work they put in every day to make Beavercreek Township a safer place to live, work, and visit.

This achievement belongs to the entire BTFD familyโ€”and to the community we are honored to serve.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Beavercreek Township Fire Department โ€” committed to excellence, today and every day. ๐Ÿš’
