Good morning everyone!!! We are fresh back from a week of vacation at Ocracoke Island. We ate lots of great food, ate ice cream almost every day, relaxed on the beach, and rode our golf carts around so much that we were constantly charging them. We were able to enjoy their annual fireworks show last week, which was incredible. It was great to unplug for a while and relax, but now it's time to push forward and get back in gear. We have a lot of events planned over the next few weeks/months... so look out for those soon. We will be out tomorrow evening delivering signs to those that requested them already. If you'd like to be added to the list, email us at [email protected] and we'll try to get to you tomorrow.

Thanks to my supporters for representing me at the Beaverdam 4th of July Parade this morning! Congrats Beaverdam Ruritan Club on 50 years of sponsoring the parade. Sorry I missed it!

Is it a coincidence that the Marine Corps was founded in 1775 and the United States of America was founded in 1776? You already know the answer. Happy 250th birthday USA!

Hey everyone, mark your calendars for Tuesday July 7th from 11AM to 2PM at Berry’s Produce on Chamberlayne Road across from the Red Rooster. The Atlee Little League 8/9/10 District 5 champion girls softball team will be out there selling lemonade to raise money for their state tournament. I was proud to make a donation in support of these girls. Best of luck to them

While you’re there, be sure to see Sandra and Bill to get your fresh produce from Berry’s. I brought a cantaloupe home from Saturday’s event and it was delicious!

What a turnout yesterday at Berry’s Produce!!! We gave away tons of signs, magnets and HATS!! Thanks to Sandra and Bill Berry for allowing us to set up yesterday and for all who came out to show their support! Many, many thanks to PRD Concessions for their food truck yesterday. If you haven’t had their fish and chips, you are definitely missing out.

Be sure to check out Berry’s Produce for all your produce needs, and get some locally made ice cream and pastries from inside the shop.

As a father and coach, I’ve spent many days at the softball field watching my kids and their friends play. We’ve all made great memories that we’ll remember forever. I was honored to sponsor the Rockville 12U girls’ softball team this spring. The end result wasn’t what we hoped for, but I’m sure these girls and their families enjoyed their experiences. I made it a priority to get by the field to watch them play… if even for just a few minutes. I wish these girls and their families the best of luck in the future!

Don’t forget to come out tomorrow and see us at Berry’s Produce on Chamberlayne Road next to the Red Rooster in Mechanicsville! PRD Concessions will be serving food with a portion of the proceeds supporting my campaign between 11AM and 7PM. I’ll be there between 11AM and 1PM with yard signs, magnets and HATS!!!
